Restless

I feel restless right now, am not sure why. I really don’t like the feeling. My restlessness started earlier, at the start of my shift here at the office -when I learned that we are blocked from using the Internet. Imagine! No internet!?!? As in no internet forever?!?! Anyway, later found out it was temporary, haaaaay buti nalang! (kaya nga I’m able to post now); then just earlier, saw that my crush log in on her messenger for a few mins then log out again (what the $@#!!)… She is sooo pretty! And I know I’m out of her league…(and the last time I check, may boyfriend sya) I’m hopeless!!! Hehehe ok lang =).

Seriously, naisip ko immediately when I knew I was feeling restless is my relationship with God. I know that my restlessness is something deeper. Need to pray more.

First time in 26 years!!!

Speaking of change, last week I devoted 3 whole days to fix my room (that includes bed, table, cabinet). It was a real change for me. Its like I’m not Joey! It was that kind of a change that Michael, my younger brother, teased me of being sick.

To give you a little background, I am (hopefully, I was) a kinda slob when it comes to my personal things, specially my room.… Before (also hopefully, never again), when you see my bed, it is full of stuff like clothes, books, magazine, bags…-it’s a large bed so there is a lot of space to showoff my being a slob. =) Anyway, it was soo mess up that I often have a hard time to find my stuff. Same thing with my cabinet and table, -all mess up. So, I guess, it’s a small step in my pursuit of change, ok lang kahit medyo superficial change lang, I fixed my room for 3 days, made sure everything was in order… -And as of right now (3/21/05 7:12am), its still in order!!! It’s a world record!

Change

Change, real change that last. I’m talking about the change within a person, in which normally, people will not notice. It’s a change that will not normally impress people because they will not see it, but a change that would manifest its benefits in the long run. That is the change that I want for myself.

I guess another term for change that I’m talking here is foundation. I would like to build a good foundation for myself. Like the physical foundation of a high-rise building, you will not notice its foundation, but you definitely will notice its enormity. Like roots of a tree that keeps the tree standing especially in times of a great storm.

I guess the reason that this -change has been playing around my mind is that because I would like to be more productive with my life. I’m already 26; there is no more room for complacency. I would like to have a purpose driven life hahaha!!! Well, its true. I don’t want it be just like another cliché in my life. I want it be real.

Time will tell.


Just do it

I have heard that many times from my mom and friends (yes, if your reading this one, including you Miguel!). Would like to say thanks to all of you, I needed that, -for I know that I’m lazy and stubborn at times. Tnx!

The Blog & The Blogger

A blog’s content is no more important than the author (the blogger). Just like my English teacher told us, (she is teaching us on how to footnote…) it is very important to give the name of the author not only the title of the book. A group of words is no more important than the one saying it.

For example, when I say that “I will give you a million dollars and its all yours without any obligations…” -you will not believe me simply because im not credible for it; but if Bill Gates tell you the exact same thing, I guess you’ll believe him (may be) hehehe.

My point is, a blog’s appeal is not only because of the brilliant ideas that is written down, but most specially because of the whole personality of the blogger.

So why am I writing all this down? So that you guys would not be critical of my wrong spellings and grammar, but just appreciate the ideas behind each post (lusot ba? Hehehe). ;-)

Blog Official Opening –Delayed

due to some technical difficulties (i.e. my computer at the house broke down), my blog’s official opening day have been delayed… feeling ko naman diba? =)

anyway, im working on my home computer dahil yung mga graphics software dito sa office is walang kwenta. im not able to modify/create graphics pictures for my blog, so my blog project is in a halt.
