Band Of Brothers

"whatever else you do, you must have a small fellowship to walk with you and fight with you and bandage your wounds" -j.eldredge

Small Group, Cell Group, Accountability Group, D-Group, Bible Study Group...

I prefer calling it Band Of Brothers.. Just like the tv miniseries. (if you havnt watched it. i suggest that you buy the dvd NOW! its really worth it; i have my own and had watched it a million times na).

We need to be with a band of brothers (or sisters). I need to be with a band of brothers. I need others to cover my back. I need them to see the blind spots in my life...

Its hard to find these group of people you can be intimate with... I need to choose wisely.. I have lots of friends (tons of them), but i cant just be open with everyone of them.. they are good friends and all, but sometimes it takes a shared experience to be able to able to qualify as band of brothers..

Kanina, I just attended our weekly morning small group sa office namin. It was very refreshing, we were able to share to each other, pray for each other, encourage each other with, as we relate to our lives yung mga pinaaaralan namin na bible verses.. It is very encouraging specially when you see that your brother/sister in Christ is being transformed to a more gracious, more patient, more giving, more loving person... A change of attitude, a change of heart is one way that you will see God's great power. In this group, we help each other's struggle. One's weakness might be another one's strength, vice versa.. Nakaka amaze how God is actively involved in each one's life. God is very personal. He knows each one of us deeply and He meets us in our own special way.. Ang galing.. very personalize si God. For some God speak through relationships, some through work experience, some through a music.. ang galing.. It makes me feel that im special because he speaks 'my language'..

Thank you Lord..
